Dr. Rakesh Amroliwala
M.B.B.S, M.D (Pediatric)
A passionate, highly specialized, experienced and responsible Pediatrician with a team of dedicated and specially trained staff. Dr. Rakesh Amroliwala completed M.B.B.S and M.D (Pediatric) from Baroda Medical College at S.S.G Hospital under Maharaja Sayajirao University in Jan-2005.
Breastfeeding Tips
Breast feeding should be initiated within half hour of birth and frequency should be on demand both during day and night.
Newborn Care Tips
A vest, a full-sleeve frock, a napkin, a cap and socks would be required even in summer. In winter, 2 or 3 additional layers of woolen clothes are necessary.
Dietary Advice
Start at approx 6 months, if the child is exclusively breastfeeding till that time, but one could start anytime between 4-6 months if not predominantly breastfeeding.
Oral Hygiene
Before eruption of teeth, gum pads should be cleaned with a clean gauze piece wrapped on index fingers. Clean gum pads twice a day or preferably after every feed.
